CRITIQUE   28/10/11 21st National Rottweiler Show Melb – P – 6 Mths of Age

Medium size. Presented at the age of 8 months. Properly developed. A little bit overweight. head is typical a little bit wedged shape. Sufficient stop. Correctly developed skull.  Ears a little bit soft and should be closer to the cheek.  Muzzle a little bit snipey.  Medium devoloped zygomatic arch.  Cheek bones should be better pronounced.  Dark brown eyes, Gums are mottled.  Strong neck well positioned. Flat withers. Topline a little soft on the move.  Soft in back.  Stretched in loin.  Correct positioned front legs.  Fingers should be better knuckled. Very good angulation in the rear.  A little bit cow hocked as he stands.  Coat a little bit wavy on the topline.  Light brown markings.  Should be better defined on the upper thigh. Free in movement.

Six months old substantial dog, very good proportions, good head, large ears, dark brown eyes, could do with some more fill under eye, would prefer to see a little more length of neck, very good body, very good top and bottom line. good body, very good tail set, good colour. Good movement.
